The Supreme Court issued notices to the Centre on a PIL seeking directions to the government to permit private players to use radio broadcasting facilities.
The petitioner NGO, Common Cause, has contended that the government may be directed to permit the entry of private enterprises and individuals to avail the radio broadcasting facilities.

A bench headed by Chief Justice P Sathasivam issued notices after hearing the counsel for the NGO.
